The 4R socket is used primarily on tow trucks and the 4R plug is used on towing lights among other things. The 4R is 4 pins and die cast metal with a spring cable guard.
The 6R socket is used in the farm industry as well as the towing industry, it has 6 pins and is made of die cast metal with a spring cable guard.
The 7R socket is used on tractor trailers as well as farm tractors. This is also used for Heavy Duty tow trucks. The 7R plug is used for a variety of lights and cords and HD light bar applications.
The 7B socket is used mostly in the RV industry and comes on most pick up trucks today. The matching 7B plug is used on a variety of trailers.
