The Duro Flash was made with longevity in mind. It has no switches and no moving parts to break off or become damaged. It is water and weather proof. The battery will last 4 hours between charges. A Lithium battery is being used similar to the one in a cell phone so the battery will fully recharge whether you use it for 10 minutes or 3-1/2 hours. The on/ off switch has been incorporated into the recharger design to make it fool proof. The only way to turn it off is to put it back into the recharger case. If you are working a DUI checkpoint and someone picked it up from the road, they would not be able to turn it off and odds are your officer would be able to see it blinking in the car and get it back. Each Duro Flash unit itself has dimensions of 4" X 4" X 3/4" and weigh just under 1 lb. each. Each Duro flash unit is made of aluminum alloy and is tested up to 20,000 pounds! The black recharging box has 6 LEDs on the top to show when each Duro Flash is completely recharged. The box has a 12v cig plug for recharging in your vehicle and the box with all 6 units weighs just under 8lbs. The box dimensions are 9.5" X 5.5" X 5.5"
